SXSW is a big conference and festival that aims at sharing new research and industry info to other creatives and the general public. I\u2019ve submitted my research in there in the hopes to meet some more people in this area, share my research, and ultimately get it out to the wider community of composers that exist in this country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sessions are chosen through a mix of voting and selection by a judging panel, so I\u2019d really appreciate it if you could go vote for my presentation. Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/submission.sxswsydney.com\/\">this link<\/a> to register an account and start voting. My submission is called \u201cDeveloping an ethical framework for the use of &#8220;world musics&#8221; within film, television, and video games\u201d (it appears on the second page of the Culture, Society &amp; Media subsection for me, at the top).
